Make Us Like You

Give us an unshakable faith. Make us un-offend-able. Make us dependable. Make us like You! Produce good fruits in us that will not wither in drought or be devoured by locus. Make us sweet like your Spirit, not bitter or hardened from the relentless attacks of the enemy. Bring us rain in our season. Reveal to us the reason for prolonged winters. Teach us the lessons that will bring lasting blessings. Make us a people stedfast, tried, and tested, purified and perfected, patient and enduring, and trustworthy with Your outpouring.

Make us like You, even if it comes with a wilderness, a Gethsemane, and a Judas. Give us Your heart, lay upon us Your burdens, show us Your sorrow for the lost and the hurting. May we share in Your grief as Your broken heart beats for a bride that’s deceived and a church that’s asleep. May we stand strong in the fight and sure in the faith, determined to be the one that eases Your pain with a love that is true, a devotion unmoved, and a thankful, graceful, faithful attitude.

We know we can trust You, you do not waver or lie, let us be the ones that You too can trust, that bring joy to Your heart and ease to Your mind. Make us Like You, loving, joyful, peaceful, longsuffering and kind. Help us press through the difficult times and maintain these fruits of goodness, faithfulness, genteelness, and patience. Let them be the stones that take down our giants. Give us Your words full of power and grace, truth and compassion, anointing and faith. Make us like You, tried and true, a heart that’s devoid of pride, selfishness, bitterness, envy, malice, strife, contention, or fear. Let our self die here, as we pick up our cross, follow after You and dare to make, “Make us like You”, our daily prayer.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” – Matthew 5:48

“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” – 1 Peter 1:16

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance:” – Galatians 5:22-23

“Ye shall know them by their fruits.” – Matthew 7:16

Defeating Discouragement

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” – Galatians 6:9

Discouragement is the enemy of confidence. Wariness is the enemy of rejoicing. Or you could reverse it and say that confidence is the enemy of discouragement and rejoicing is the enemy of wariness. Where you stand on this determine whether your quitting or winning.

“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” – Proverbs 13:12

Fear doubts God’s love for you, but a revelation of His love cast out fear because of God He for you then what can be against you? Gain a confidence in God’s faithfulness and it will cast out discouragement. Get a revelation of the reward that your well doing is earning you in eternity and as you begin to rejoice over it, it will cast out the wariness.

The battle is a battle of perspective. It’s a fight of faith. A fight to keep your faith in the assured victory in the face of the onslaught of relentless attacks from the enemy trying to ware down the righteous and still their crown.

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” – Revelation 3:11

Don’t put down your crown, even for a second. Get back on your feet, ready your sword, lock in your shield, and run the race with endurance. For in due season you shall reap the reward if you don’t quit. This is not how it will always be, this is just the devils hissy fit because he sees your victory better then you can and it’s panicking him. Be fully persuaded that what God has promised He is able to accomplish and rejoice in His unfailing love in the process. Every trial you endure with patience is storing up rewards for you in heaven and preparing you for an outpouring of glory in both this life and in the one to come. Silly devil, we’ve already won, all your doing is increasing my reward and sharpening my sword.

Today, choose to lift a shout of praise and return discouragement back upon the head of the one that sent it. He meant to discourage you, but you can discourage him by showing him that his efforts are wasted by the sound of your praises!

“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” – 1 Peter 4:12-13

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” – James 1:2-4

“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” – 2 Corinthians 4:16-17

Still a God of Power!

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” – 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Paul warns of a deception that would arise in the church in the last days. Having a form of godliness, they claim to belong to Christ but yet they deny the overcoming power of His Name and blood! From such people, Paul warns, turn away! Flee from them! Have no part in it. In fact the word “turn away” is the literal definition of repent. Paul warns that one need repent of being among those that are like this.

The list of previous sins, including unholiness, are things that they are ok with. They teach that you need not (or cannot) be freed from the bondage of sin, removing the limitless power of the true God of scripture (of whom nothing is impossible) for the powerless justification of a god of their own making who is not stronger then the enemy or the sin he binds you in. They preach unbelief and claim it is Christianity when it has no power to set the captive free. It’s a fallacy and Paul said to repent of it and flee from those who teach it.

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might agree with him.” – 2 Corinthians 11:3-4

Jesus said that because the Spirit of God was upon Him, He received powered to set the captive free! Then He died to make a way for that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead to be received by you and me!

The Word says that the Anointing “breaks the yoke” of bondage to the enemy! If there is no yoke breaking power in your church then it’s because Jesus (who is the anointing) is not in it! Flee from it! If there is no yoke breaking power in the god that you serve, then it’s because it is not the real God of scripture who is unchanging! Flee from it! If there is no yoke breaking power in your life then it’s because the yoke breaker is not the Lord of it! Flee from it! Repent of it! Die to it and come alive in Christ by the power of the limitless Holy Spirit!

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” – Romans 8:11-15

He is still a God of power, if your god is powerless or limited in anyway then it is not the God of the Bible! Come to the Anointed One! Come to salvation, deliverance, and freedom! Come to Jesus! Not just a hollow form of godliness laid down in words that justify peoples emptiness, defeatedness, powerlessness, and sinfulness! But a God of limitless power and demonstration unto the shaming of the limitations of the enemy that has been placed underneath His feet!

“But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” – 1 Corinthians 4:19-20

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”- Luke 1:37

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” -Jeremiah 32:27

Jesus has been given all power, authority, and dominion! He has taken the keys (authority) of the kingdom away from Satan and given it to His anointed. Those who truly believe Him, to walk in it! Overcoming victory over the enemy is available to those who truly believe in the real Him. Not in a powerless faithless victory-less form of godliness, but in Jesus! The Son of the Living God! The Holy and Anointed One! The Truth, the Way, and the Life! The overcomer! The Resurrection! The Deliverer! The Savior! The Victor! The real Jesus!

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” – Revelation 3:21-22

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” – Revelation 12:11

“Nay, in all these things we are more than overcomes through him that loved us.” – Romans 8:37

Death is Defeated!

In the time of Moses, a judgment was given. Because of the wickedness of Egypt and it’s defiance and arrogance against God, death would pass through the land. Yet God in His mercy made a way of escape from it for those who trusted in Him and what He said. By faith Moses and the Israelites, believing that this great judgment was coming, applied the blood of a Lamb to the door post of their homes and when it came upon the land it passed over them and could not touch them.

You see, God says that the righteous are not appointed unto wrath and just like God said of Abraham, they believed what God had told them unto obedience even when it didn’t make since (which is the essence of faith) and it was counted unto them for righteousness so that death and judgment had to pass over them.

Fast forward a few thousand years and we come to the time of Jesus. It’s Passover time again, and again God has spoken, who will believe Him that it be counted unto them for righteousness? Jesus and the disciples sit and partake of Passover. They drink from the cup of blessings but Jesus does not because He knows an other cup is coming that He must drink of. It’s a cup of judgment, death was coming because the whole world had become as Egypt. So as He prayed in the garden later that night He asked in agony if it be possible that this cup of wrath might pass Him by, yet nevertheless for the redemption of men, He would drink of it. He would be the first born son that death claimed that those who believed on Him might remain. He believed God and obeyed and His righteousness caused death to pass over that day and made of what for us to enter into His righteousness by believing Him unto repentance and obedience to the things that He had spoken.

Fast forward a few thousand years and in the time of you and I there is still a judgment. There is still a death coming, but by trusting in what God says and obeying it will we be counted righteous that still today death and judgment must pass over us. Therefor, by faith are we saved, by faith do we receive God’s grace, by faith not only in who He is (for even the demons have a faith like this) but a faith in what He says. That unless we repent we will all likewise perish, not being redeemed from the curse of death. That Jesus was our Passover Lamb and by His blood He makes a way of redemption through repentance and forgiveness of sin, being our atonement for it. That by faith in this unto obedience we can receive His Spirit, which is grace (favor, power, and His divine influence). Confession of sins, repentance of them, and acknowledgement that you need to be saved from judgment is the faith part, God forgiving and equipping you to walk in overcoming resurrection power freed from the curse of it is the grace part.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” – Ephesians 2:8

Praise God for His amazing grace! For by it, judgment is still being stayed! Death is still forced to pass over them that partake of the Passover Lamb! In Christ through repentance, remission, and redemption we have forgiveness and a way of escape from judgment! Glory to God for His mercy! His loving kindness! His faithfulness! His sacrifices. His labor of love bestowed upon us that we might have the chance to believe and be counted righteous!

“John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” – John 1:29

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” – 1 Corinthians 15:55-58

But for those who do not believe, or who say they do with their lips but their hearts, intents, and actions are far from it, they are still under the law and there is still a judgment for sin. Only those who have humbled themselves through faith to truly believe and obey the words of Jesus or counted righteous and saved from the judgment. All else are still guilty of it, not having humbled themselves to take the only way of escape from it. Choose to believe so that you can be set free because for all those who are not truly redeemed, the law still applies, they are still guilty, judgment is still coming, take the way of escape from it.

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:” – Matthew 15:8-10

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.” – John 12:48-50

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15

As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. Not just in word but in action and obedience. In repentance and righteousness. In faith and grace! For this is my confidence, that He is my shield and my buckler, my strong tower, who the righteous run into, and they are saved! Hallelujah to the lamb that was slain! He is worth to be Praised. Even death is defeated by the power of His Name! Jesus is salvation and death must pass over those who proclaim it!

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” – Romans 10:10-17

In Remembrance of Me

“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.” – 1 Corinthians 11:23-24

I once endured a great depth of pain and affliction for someone that I loved trying to help them and save them from their own bad decisions. Years later while in conversation a remembrance of this situation came up and to my great sorrow they did not remember it. They did not even truly believe that it happened and therefor did not appreciate the depths of my sacrifice for them. I wanted no apology, they did not need to make amends, I just wanted them to acknowledge what I had endured for them and appreciate it and it broke my heart all over again when it didn’t happen.

Yet it was in this moment that the Lord showed me the depths of healing that the simple act of taking communion brings to Him, when we truly remember what He did and appreciate it. However, it also showed me the sorrow that it can bring when we take it unworthily, in “unbelief”.

Do we really believe what He endured for us? Not only the physical brokenness but but His broken heart over us. How He gave His all to show us His love for us while we played the harlot with an unworthy lover right before Him and yet even while His heart was breaking as He had to endure witnessing this, He still poured out His blood for us. Do we really remember His suffering? Because I think if we did, then we would never again be tempted to cheat on Him with sin, to return to that other lover, in fact it would cause us to hate it for what it did to Him. To repent of it and beg for forgiveness. To love on Him daily and appreciate Him for what He did. This is the power of communion, of truly remembering.

As I broke the bread I took time to remember His brokenness and feel it. Not just a broken body and the things that He did, but His broken heart over what He witnessed while being despised and rejected by the ones He did it for. His broken heart over our rejection of Him for our other lovers, whatever pleased the flesh, whatever the wicked one suggested in our ear. Yet oh how Jesus still poured out His blood, suffered, and died to save us from those other lovers bent only on destroying us and hurting Him through us, even while we were yet still with them. In remembering this we will come to know the depths of a true communion.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

Breaking the break I remember His broken heart over all of this and I remorsed over it, I repented and thanked Him for it. Then I took the cup, the blood, the forgiveness. The price He paid for my redemption, and I realized the order of communion was with intent. First the bread then the wine, the body then the blood, repentance then forgiveness, remorse then redemption from it, conviction then conversion, remembrance then love. The body, then the blood.

“We love him, because he first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19

“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband (Christ), that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 11:2

Longsuffering

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” – Galatians 5:22-25

Jesus said that we will know wether or not someone has His Holy Spirit by their fruits. The fruits of the Spirit is the very character of God. If we are led by His Spirit then we will exhibit His character.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” – Romans 8:14

We must submit to the leading and even to the correcting of the Holy Spirit so that He can produce the peaceable fruits of righteousness in us. It may come through lessons, blessings, or wildernesses. However the Lord must cultivate these characteristics in us, we must let Him. For without them we are useless to Him, we are fruitless. We can not reproduce the Kingdom of God among men, for what is the fruit of a tree but it’s means of reproduction?

“Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.” – Hebrews 12:11

Of these fruits of the Holy Spirit of God, one of the most lacking in the moderne church body today is that of “longsuffering.” Even as Christ was willing to suffer long to see us saved, so should we be willing to suffer long to see others saved. In this instant world of quick gratification we quickly loss sight of the bigger fight of faith. It’s not always an instant win, but there is an instant assurance of it. That’s why it’s a “fight of faith.” Yet must you maintain that faith to see the fight through to the end. If you don’t quit, you win.

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.” – Romans 4:20-22

“…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” – James 5:16

I have fought fights in prayer, warfare, fasting, and personal sacrifice for people that took days, then I have fought fights that took years. But one thing I learned… the ones that took days were no reflection of my might, but only the results of me joining a fight for the final push that someone else had been fighting for the long haul. Longsuffering is a fruit of the Spirit. It is a requirement for victory and the flowing of the anointing. It is not only something that we are required to exhibit, but it is good to remember that it is a characteristic of God Himself. He is longsuffering toward the sinner, the wicked, the lost, the deceived, not being willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Let us determine to reflect this. Not growing impatient, weary, or offended but to die to self wants, emotions, and feelings so that we can reflect Jesus to those who most need to see it.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9

“Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” – Romans 2:4

“But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.” – Psalms 86:15-16

“For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” – 1 Peter 3:17-20

Entertaining vs Anointed

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” – Isaiah 10:27

The anointing of God breaks the yoke of bondage to the enemy, but to carry it does not come easy. Entertainment on the other hand keeps dead men from knowing that they were dying and are in desperate need of resurrecting. It keeps people coming for the next fix but never teaches them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith. Much of what calls itself the church today is a hollow Charade. Lots of fluff and flattery but no fervency, lots of lights and hype but no contrite heart over sin and wickedness, lots of performance but no profession of agreement with the word of God or brokenness over a world of lost sinners going to hell for their abrasion to it.

Where are the weepers, the preachers of righteousness like Noah, Elijah, Hezakiah, John the Baptist, and even Jesus? Who called men out of their sins and into repentance, take it or leave it. No sugar coating, no compromising, no entertaining, no hyping, no eloquent words, no fear of men. Just the truth in their mouth and enough love in their heart for both God and the souls of men, to release it! This is what this generation needs and is so desperately lacking. Not more entertaining.

The sheep are scarred, searching on every hill side for spiritual nutriment, yet more often then not they are lured in by plastic yard ornaments; leaving hungry, weak, and disappointed. Counterfeits of the Holy Spirit, lifeless, powerless, pointless, entertainment. Many of the most highly esteemed churches today are no different then the newest broadway show. There’s a reason they call it broadway, because those that are on it are heading straight to Hell. Why aspire to be like the mega churches when Jesus said that following the many will lead to hell and that the real church is always only a remnant?

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” – Matthew 7:13-14

Entraining is easy, it’s rooted in pride. Anointing is hard, it will cost you your live. Entertainment brings instant self gratification. The Anointing brings conviction and demands repentance, but is backed by the yoke breaking power of heaven. Entertainment changes the moment, the anoint changes your life. Entertainment makes your flesh feel alive and leaves the spirit dry. Anointing bids your flesh to die so your spirit can come alive. We have enough entertainment and very little anointing, because entertainment is easy and anointing cost you something. Away with all these attention hungry pretenders. God raise up an army of anointed contenders.

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness…” – Jude 1:3-4

A Shaking is Coming!

God is about to wake America’s sleepy sinners to fear and trembling and it’s sleeping saints to the depths of their redemption. A shaking is coming. How shaky is your faith? A physical shaking to awaken the spiritually sleepy. Those who are spiritually awake know that it’s coming and have been interceding. Everyone else is going to be shocked and amazed. God will have His day. A demonstration of biblical proportions is what this generation needs, and by faith they are going to get it. He is still the God of Issac, Abraham, Jacob, and Moses who parts the seas for those who believe and follow His lead.

“See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.” – Hebrews 12:25-29

Judgment At The Door

Pride, covetousness, abortion, homosexuality, perversion, selfishness, greed, rebellion, sin and wickedness of every kind. America has had more access to the truth of God’s word then any nation on earth and yet it is one of the most openly sinful. It has more blood on its hands then maybe any other in history through abortion. It has laughed in the face of God almighty and said in it’s heart that it cannot be judged. It’s preachers and prophets stand silent against the abominations of the land, or worse yet they endorse them with flattering words of falsed encouragement when the heart of God is crying out “repent before you face judgment unprepared!”

“But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.” – Matthew‬ ‭12:39-41‬ ‭

Sin must be judged, God in His mercy terries and sends the Spirit of Elijah to warn and cry out for repentance. Biblical only the righteous are spared from judgment, while the silent are judged with the wicked, having their silence against it equated to agreement with it in the courts of heaven. Moses drew a line in the sand and told the people to take their stand. If you choose to agree with God then stand with me, if you choose to either oppose or stay neutral (silent) then stay there where you are. Hot or cold, no one on the fence. That’s what judgment does, it forces everyone off the fence. You must choose a side. Agree with God and openly speak that agreement or agree with the enemy and be judged with him. Those who chose God’s side that day chose to be in right standing and were saved, while those who did not take their stand for and with Him were swallowed up when the shaking began.

“And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, and set a mark (of protection) upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: – Ezekiel‬ ‭9:4-5‬ ‭

“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” – Matthew‬ ‭12:30‬

Decide today to believe what Jesus has to say with your whole heart and speak it out with your mouth. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! We have no agreement with death, Hell, or the culture of it. We choose to align ourselves in agreement with righteousness (what God says is right) that we be found standing for Him and with Him in the time of judgment and escape it even as those who stood with God when Moses drew his line in the sand. I pray that all would do the same because judgment for sin is coming when you least expect it and when it does there is no protection for those who were in agreement with it. You can’t stay on the fence, luke warm won’t save you. Choose God’s side while there is yet time. Choose holiness. Choose righteousness. Get on the ark before the door is shut and you miss His season of mercy. Time is running out, don’t gamble with eternity. Today is the day of salvation, now is the appointed time. Don’t miss it. The clock is ticking the final minutes of mercy away. Judgment is coming. Count the days.

“We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” – 2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:1-2‬ ‭

“Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.” – Isaiah‬ ‭28:15-19‬ ‭

“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of troubles, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:” – ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭2:4-9‬ ‭

Fine Tuning

Early on in my walk of faith it seemed that correction came in wide easy to see strokes with neon flashing signs. Things that were obvious sins or error and were simple to correct. Yet as my walk with the Lord deepened and He laid upon me more responsibility the instructions and corrections became more confusing and at times even frustrating.

He would push me in a direction, then I would run out and get corrected for over stepping, then I would cry out in confusion, frustration, disappointment, or discouragement. “Lord You told me to do this? Why am I now being corrected for it?” Until the Lord responded, “I’m fine tuning you.”

He knew exactly what to say to help me understand that day. You see, as a musician, that one statement was all I needed to see the big picture of what He was telling me. In my mind I saw a guitar being tuned. Turning the tuning peg in one direction or the other. To the untrained ear it is easy to hear when it is wildly out of tune. It is easy to know which direction you need to go to get it back inline enough to play some lovely melodies. However, at this point, while it may seem to be in tuned to most on lookers and by standers, to the sensitive skilled and discerning ear of the master conductor preparing you for a place in His great Symphony, there is still some fine tuning to do so that all will work together in harmony.

It is in this time of “fine tuning” that you end up going back and forth a lot. “Do this, wait no, too much, correct it. Turn this way, do you hear how you missed it? Go back and do it again. Your close but not yet perfect. I need a certain sound that will resound and do it’s part in the work of the whole without distorting the over all sound, message, and melody of the great Symphony that I have chosen you to be part of for Me. Have patience and don’t quit. Don’t get frustrated or discouraged and leave the class before you’ve passed. I’m not mad or disappointed, I just need you to take the corrections and learn the lessons because I Am preparing you for your appointed position. And when you are pass this class and are fine tuned at last, what an amazing sound you will make when you finally take your place and it will all come together to preform My good Grace!” How perfect is the work of our King? So don’t get discouraged in the season of fine tuning.

“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” – Ephesians 4:14-16

“Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.“ – James 1:3-4

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” – Matthew 5:48
