FAITH TRUSTING IN GOD. HOW? YOU NEED GOD VISION!
Seeing things from HIS EYES now, not mine!
I recently got a new pair of sunglasses. They were different then all of the others I had before. They actually made it easier to see. They made everything brighter and look like it was the Garden again in the beginning of creation. Looking like a High Definition screen.
So GOD begins to speak, “This is what happens when you look through MY EYES.” GOD SEES ALL, AND KNOWS ALL, AND NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM! Knowing that GOD is for me because I am HIS, gives me FAITH FOR TODAY AND ALL MY TOMORROWS.
The Faith is not only in knowing who GOD IS (which is key), But also in knowing WHO’S I am. HE IS my FATHER and my KING! So all I am is HIS, and all HE IS is mine! As my FATHER, HE has promised to protect and provide for me, as I HUMBLY SUBMIT TO HIM AS GOD AND KING. That means, I draw near to HIM to hear his voice, and obey as HE speaks to me. I return the LOVE and DEVOTION to HIM that HE has given to me. And in keeping myself faithful in our relationship, as HE IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL, I have no reason to fear ANYTHING AT ALL!
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.” – Psalms 28:7-9
“But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.” – Psalms 31:14
So… GOD VISION is SEEING EVERYTHING THROUGH HIS EYES. This only happens by abiding in HIS PRESENCE. That is when we can gaze upon the beauty of HIS HOLINESS AND GLORY! The more time we spend with HIM alone, the more we become like HIM, love and trust in HIM and SEE from HIS perspective! Which is totally awesome by the way!! This terrible sin filled cursed world we live in, is only temporary; and this life is the testing ground to determine who will be faithful to GOD, as HE IS FAITHFUL UNTO THOSE WHO LOVE AND SERVE HIM WITH THEIR WHOLE LIFE.
“O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.” – Psalms 31:23
“But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”- Joshua 22:5
“Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: But cleave unto the Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day. For the Lord hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day. One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the Lord your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you. Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God. Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you. And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the Lord your God promised you; so shall the Lord bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you. When ye have transgressed the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.” – Joshua 23:6-16
The devil’s order of attack:
•Entice you away from GOD’S PRESENCE
•Instill doubt, causing you to question GOD, by lying about GOD’S WORD
•Present temptation making sin look good and pleasant and wise
•Then once he has us convinced of his lies we sin (disobedience to GOD)
Once you understand the tactics of the enemy, you can avoid the snares.
“My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.” – Proverbs 1:10
Understand the devil cannot make us sin once JESUS has set us free, he can only entice us to stray away by our own lust (desires). If we will recognize the devil’s attack plan and choose to avoid it all, by drawing nearer to GOD until all desires other than HIM vanish, we can have victory over all sin by HIS strength. IT’S ALL AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN ABOUT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD! This is the ONLY protection we have from the enemy!
The key to obedience:
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” – Matthew 26:41
“Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked (past-tense) in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” – 1 Peter 4:1-7, 12-19
Suffering in this life will come to ALL, from your own sin, or by the sins of others; But let it not be by your own sin, for if it is, it will be suffering deserved. But those who are obedient to GOD will suffer persecution and in the end be rewarded by GOD for our faithfulness to HIM.
“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.” – James 1:12-16
“Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” – James 4:2-10
“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” – James 1:25
“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.” – Psalms 37:25-40
