Lay Low, God Moves On Behalf Of The Humble

“Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.” – Zephaniah‬ ‭2:2-3‬ ‭

Those that are laid low will always be lifted up by the mighty hand of God, while the prideful will be cut down. Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, yet the humble will always have God’s good favor working on their behalf. Therefore, when a humbling need come, (to a home, a family, a church, a situation, or a nation) lay low and seek the Lord. He will hide you in the lowliest of places and once His work of cutting down the obstructions of the prideful is done, He will raise you up and place you in a position that has been cleared and made ready to do an uncorrupted work.

Don’t rush out or you will be cut down with the wicked. Lay low and seek the Lord, for He has assured us that the meek will inherit the Earth, but the prideful will be resisted by He Himself. Let the Lord defend you. Trust in His goodness and justice. Believe in His unfailing love. Humble yourself under His mighty hand and see the salvation of the Lord. Be still and know that He is God and He is good, even in judgment.
