“The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever. The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.” – Psalms 29:9-11
Nothing brings peace to an anxious situation like Praise! When we take time to stop and thank God for all that He has done, it gives us faith for all that He is doing, and is yet to do! Remember that he is king over the flood, so when the enemy rushes in like a flood, God will raise up a standard against him. A standard of power and glory worthy to be praised (Isaiah 59:19).
So praise Him in faith and glorify His Name in the highest, for he is faithful and just. Glorify God in the very sight of your enemies for He is preparing a table for you before them. (Psalms 28:5) Even their attacks are part of the preparing, so praise and thank God for it. The more impossible the situation seems the more God will be glorified in His working it together for the good of those who Love him and are called according to His purpose.
What a great faith it builds when God allows the enemy to pursue you so that you can witness Him defend you in impossible ways. Stay calm and have faith. The enemy will only be allowed to pursue you till he fall, blinded by his vicious pursuit, into a snare laid before him by the very hand of God.
“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” – Exodus 14:14
“For he (the wicked) is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.” – Job 18:8
So be worried for nothing, but in everything give thanks and Glorify the God of righteousness! When you Glorify God, you diminish fear and the Prince of Peace will rule your heart and mind, bringing you into all peace. A peace founded in faith that is so supernatural that it baffles the natural minds that bear it witness, and that in itself brings glory to God. Therefore, glorifying God and peace or symbiotically and infinitely linked one to the other. Coming to a realization of this will allow God to greatly bless you with peace in any situation while you bless God with praise!
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” – Philippians 4:6-9
