Abandoning Your Faithless Faith

3217“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” – 2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭

We have a plight in the church today of unbelieving believers that have a faithless faith, in a powerless God of their own making. They look at the bible as a bag of trail mix, picking out the over processed sugar coated parts they like while throwing the rest away. No wonder so few bare the fruit of righteousness or the evidence of salvation. They talk the talk, but do not walk the walk only fooling themselves.

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” – James‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭

Their is more worldliness in the church today then righteousness and at the root of this problem is a lack of knowledge of, faith in, and submission to the entire council of God’s Holy Word. All scripture was given by God, and is profitable. Not just the encouraging parts, but also the correction and reproof that you might be instructed in righteousness without which, no man shall see God.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” – Hebrews‬ ‭12:14‬ ‭

“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” – 1 Peter‬ ‭1:16-23‬ ‭

We are saved by grace through faith, but do you have a faithless faith? If you truly believe that He is who He is, would you not do what He says to do? Faith takes action, whether from love or from fear, true faith obeys unto righteousness. The truth is that many who say they believe, really do not. John Chapter 1 tells us that Jesus is the Word made flesh, so you can’t say that you fully believe in Jesus if you do not fully believe the Word, for they are one in the same.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” – John‬ ‭1:1‬

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” – John‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭

Therefore, the reason we have such a powerless Christianity today is because most among it are not Christians at all. They have broken the first 2 commandments! They have created a god in their own image, of their own making, of their own liking, with their own logic and idea of what he should be and they have put it before the God of the Bible. They have not believed or received the reproof or correction of the God of the Bible through the Words of the Bible, and so He has turned them over to their own idolatries to serve the lust of the flesh while He calls out a Remnant Church from among them. A true Church, a bride made pure White and ready for her groom, washed by the pure water of the Word of God. A bride that loves Christ enough to obey His commandments. A bride that has enough faith in her Bridegroom to have faith in His Words. A bride that walks in humble submission to her groom and therefor is protected and empowered by Him unto good and mighty works, the evidence of her purity and faithfulness. The sure proof that she is favored and beloved of a mighty King.

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” – Ephesians‬ ‭5:25-27‬ ‭

Know this, that Satan (through the anti Christ) is not coming to deceive the world, for the world is already deceived. He is coming to deceive the church, and that spirit of anti christ even now is already in the world. Take time now to get to know both the true full undefiled Word of God and the true God of the Word while you still can! That you not be deceived into disgracing and mocking the blood of the covenant of Christ sent to take away the sins of the world and create a holy people zealous of good works, by flattering those of His very sanctuary into believing they can keep their sin, their idols, their selfish lust, and their man made image of god who serves their needs rather then them humbly and faithfully serving Him. Choose today to put your full faith in God, the real God, not the god of your tradition, not the god of your denomination, not the god of your own mind and making, but the God of the Bible and every single Word spoken by Him, whether it be of encouragement, correction, direction, or rebuke. That you might walk in the limitless power of His righteousness against all the wilds of the devil. He is calling the Remnant out, how will you answer this call? Will you even hear the call at all? Open the Word, Read It, Believe It, and Obey It. Get to know the real God of the Bible and hear what He is saying to the church.

“And arms shall stand on his part (speaking of the anti christ), and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” – Daniel‬ ‭11:31-32
