“Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.” – 2 Timothy 4:17
We all have a mandate to go into all the world and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to everything that has breath (Mark 16:15). The word “gospel” means “good news“. The good news is that the sacrificial blood of Jesus has paved a way for us to go boldly before the thrown of God (Hebrews 4:16). The good news is that the blood of Jesus has defeated Satan, death, hell, and the grave (Revelations 1:18). The good news is that the blood of Jesus can wash away every sin, every stain, every guilt, and every shame (1 John 1:7). The good news is that at the Name of Jesus every demon trembles in fear (James 2:19). The good news is that Jesus defeated Satan and afforded us a way of overcoming him ourselves to anyone who chooses to believe and except Christ as their Lord and Savior, and Satan doesn’t want you to tell people that really good news.
Scripture tells us that Satan is the prince of this world (John 12:31). Therefor we are born under the dictatorship of his harsh and evil rule. However, because of what Christ (the Son of God) did for us at Calvary we can choose to leave that place of servanthood and bondage under Satan’s rule and be adopted into the family of God, and become joint heirs with Christ and children of The Most High King! (Romans 8:17)
Who wouldn’t want to be brought to the understanding of the truth of that good news? Realize this, Satan is the only one that wants to keep people from hearing the true gospel of Jesus Christ, because whom The Son sets free, is free indeed (John 8:36). Therefore every action, thought, lie, and fear that comes to silence the Christian from sharing the Gospel comes from a defeated foe who is fighting a loosing battle to keep his oppressed serfs from being told that they’ve already been liberated.
So don’t be bullied, don’t be deceived, don’t be wearied, don’t be bluffed, and above all, don’t be silenced. Your voice is what Satan fears most because Faith in Jesus sets his captives free and Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:27). So yes Satan will fight, he will resist, but at best all he can get you to do is be quiet, so don’t! Don’t give up! Don’t give in! Don’t be silent! Tell the devil, “we win”!
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” – Revelation 12:11
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” – 2 Timothy 4:1-2
