A Cry For Repentance

prayerdfsdfSometimes the world doesn’t wanna acknowledge those three words, “I’m a sinner”. Even The word “sin” or “sinner” makes them uncomfortable!! Bible verses that have anything to do with repentance make them uncomfortable. Well, they should.

The fact is, each one of us is carrying a soul within this vehicle we call our bodies. Even you. It’s time to think about the final destination. It’s time to get uncomfortable and examine ourselves, it’s time to strip yourself down, wipe off that covering that helps you look away from the real you within. The time-fillers that keep you from praying, from Reading your bible, or from Looking within yourself.

As long as your too busy it’s ok right? So who are you in Christ? Where are you standing? Are you knocking, or are you just pacing back and forth at the doorstep, afraid that he won’t accept you? Because He didn’t come to save good and worthy people. Straight A students at life. The goody goodies that seem to do everything right. Not so. He came to save sinners. You can’t wait til your good enough. It won’t take place without the savior. It won’t take place without knocking.
Please don’t wait any more. The time is now. It’s an emergency!

You can be late to work, late to school, and you will make up for that, but you can’t be late to do this, you can’t be late to this because eternity is a done deal. Please don’t wait any more.

Knock with dirty hands. Knock with your knees shaking, knock with that lump in your throat , but you Knock because you know that Hell is real and you don’t wanna spend eternity their. Justice is coming.

Knock because you need Jesus right NOW. Right now. It’s an emergency!

“For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.” – Psalm 86:5

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord , and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” – Isaiah 55:6-7

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” – Matthew 7:7-8
