You Were Made For War, Start Fighting Back

Warrior Woman Silhouette“Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.” – Joel 3:9-10

To all things there is a season and sometimes it’s time to stop running and start fighting. Not physically of course, but where it really counts, in the spirit. For those that are saved and walk not after the flesh but after the spirit, there is great power and authority given, not to the flesh but to the spirit from God. You see when we deny self and follow after Christ, walking obediently in the spirit, we’re not just walking the the power of any spirit, nor our own spirit, but we have taken on God’s Spirit, His Holy Spirit. This is the essence of Grace and how it empowers us to overcome, for the one who overcomes (having already overcome death, hell, and the grave) lives inside of us ready and willing to roar at every opportunity sending fear and panic into the enemies camp.

“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” – Ezekiel 36:27

Demons tremble and flee at the very mention of the Name of Jesus! How much more then at His presence? So instead of coming to God with a begging, defeated, whimpering plea, how about you determine to welcome His presence into your life and situation, and His Spirit into your heart with praise and thanksgiving. Then allow the Lion of the tribe of Judah to rise up in you and roar out of you with authority and power over the enemy, warring and rebuking him from your mind, emotions, family, friends, health, and life. Though we are weak in flesh, through God we are strong in Spirit because we carry His Spirit and when we realize that, the devil is in a world of trouble.

“Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.” – Joel 3:9-10
