We are created to honor God. Everything that is, was made by Him, and for Him. This is why we, as humans are so incomplete without Him. We search in vain for joy, fulfillment, and purpose all our lives until at last we find Him, and find it all in Him.

Even the devil himself was made by God and for God. Scripture tells us in Ezekiel chapter 28 that Lucifer was a mighty cherub (Angel) who was created in great beauty and splendor for the purpose of worshiping God with wondrous music and songs that proceeded forth out of him before the thrown of God. But he allowed jealousy and pride to take root in his heart, causing him to leave his appointed place at the feet of God, desiring a place above God and His will. For this he lost everything and has ever since endeavored to cause man to do the same.

Satan is miserable and misery loves company. Likewise, when we are not in our proper place in God and His will, we are also miserable. Yet so often we try to take matters into our own hands seeking to position ourselves rather then allowing God to do it. Things never work out well when we do this and we know it. Yet we continue to allow pride to drive us and we make the same mistakes over and over again. Until one day, we get it! We realize that God made all things, and He made them all for His glory, not ours. Therefor no one else can know better, our perfect place in creation and how to position us in it. Once we realize this, we can walk faithfully in peace with His will, proceed with patients and endurance, learn and grow with excitement and expectation, and make it to see ourselves attain to the fullest of what we were specifically created for.- Faithful and selflessly seeking God’s glory and not our own, we find that our greatest joy and fulfillment is found in sacrificing self and serving Him and others in accordance to his will. After all, that’s what we were created to do. Therefor, in this we fine our purest offering, worship, and honoring of God, the creator of all things, to whom alone belongs all Glory, Power, and Praise.

“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” – John 1:3

“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” – Romans 11:36
