Do you know that God will fight for you? Then step back from the situation and let Him do it. To often we try to do things in our own flesh, in our own understanding, and in our own strength (or more accurately, our lack of it). That forces God to remove His hands from our situation knowing that we will bring wrongs to His perfect and good plan. You see, when God does something it is done right. As the old hymn says, He works in perfectly mysterious ways with wonders to preform.
He has a plan and it is perfect. The out come will be something so undeniably miraculous that the devil will not be able to steal the joy of it from you nor the glory that God deserves for performing it. However, we have to let God do it His way, not ours. He can and will fight for you, but only if you hold your peace so that when the battle is over there can be no doubt as to what happened and who brought about this miraculous victory.
There are certainly times when God calls us to action. However, make sure those times are an act of humble obedience to His sure instruction and not a reaction to the enemies malice destruction of what is dear to us. The enemy actively seeks to drive you to “react” rather then waiting on God’s instructions because he knows that he can not handle God’s plans but he can most certainly handle yours. Don’t be fooled. Remember who is on your side, remember who has your back, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the creator of all things, the Alpha and Omega, Beginning in the End, the One and Only Sovereign God. Don’t run into battle without Him. Let Him fight for you, and hold your peace.
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8:31
Pray earnestly, humbly seek God for instruction and encouragement, worship Him for the victory, and watch the impossible play out.
“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” – Psalms 34:18-19
